What Went Down On Day Three Of The Democratic Convention

Leon Panetta said Clinton is the only candidate to release a plan to defeat ISIS. Trump has said repeatedly that he hasn’t released his plan because it wouldn’t be smart to tip his hand to the enemy. That may be true — though it sounds like exactly what someone without a plan would say.

We’ve got chants of “no more war” drowning out Panetta, coming mostly from the Washington delegation.

It’s funny how things that seem good on paper don’t necessarily play in the hall. The hall isn’t in love with Panetta in the same way it was with that rendition of “What the World Needs Now Is Love.” Maybe the people at home will see it differently?
