What Went Down On Day Three Of The Democratic Convention

I spoke with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio yesterday about the contrasts between the Democratic and Republican parties in 2016 and the tightening of the race in the polls.

One big question I have is whether any of the Republicans in that video Carl and Clare mentioned — for instance, Mitt Romney — might go from merely being #NeverTrump to actually endorsing Clinton by November. We haven’t seen very much of that so far.

This video is a reminder that even if some prominent Republicans such as Marco Rubio eventually came around to endorsing Trump, their previous remarks doubting his fitness to be president remain on video, available for Democrats to try to exploit.
