There are multiple elections tonight where Democrats have spent money in an effort to boost more conservative (read: less electable) candidates in swing districts, such as Christopher Rodriguez in California’s 49th District and Greg Raths in California’s 40th District. Now Josh Kraushaar of the National Journal is reporting that Democrats plan to do the same thing in the Colorado Senate race. This increasingly looks like a major part of the Democratic playbook to stem their losses in 2022.
