One Race To Watch In Mississippi

Most primaries in Mississippi should be relatively straightforward, but there is one race to watch: the Republican primary in the 4th District. Six-term Republican Rep. Steven Palazzo has found himself in hot water over possible campaign finance violations, prompting six Republican challengers to jump into the primary. It’s unclear how endangered Palazzo is, but his main opponents appear to be Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell, state Sen. Brice Wiggins and retired banker Clay Wagner, who’ve all raised a fair bit of money.
