What Happened In The Brett Kavanaugh Hearing

This statement is incredibly political, both in content, in its scolding tone towards the Democrats on the committee. As my smart colleagues have written, he’s obviously targeting certain people (Trump? senators?) but I wonder if some of this isn’t being delivered with too raging a tone. It’s not a smart tone to strike, I might argue, given that allegations are about his loss of temper during moments of his life, or loss of control.

This like a more articulate version of what Trump said yesterday: “What goes around comes around.” That was basically a threat to the Democrats if he goes down.

Contrast this to how polite and soft-spoken Ford was.
