What Happened In The Brett Kavanaugh Hearing

CNN’s Manu Raju reports that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley wouldn’t answer questions about whether or not there will be a vote on Kavanaugh in the committee tomorrow — but also that “most of the major supporters” of Kavanaugh are rallying around him and citing a lack of “corroboration.”

One person noticeably silent in today’s Senate hearing? President Trump. Politico reported that Trump watched the hearing aboard Air Force One on his flight back to the White House. A White House official texted Politico’s Annie Karni to say, “Facts vs. Emotion. Let’s wait and see.”

Megan Kelly is on NBC News speculating that Democrats will try and pick apart Kavanaugh’s “choir boy” image with their questioning by bringing up “knuckle-headed” comments in his yearbook, for example.
