What Happened In The Brett Kavanaugh Hearing

Was that the first time that President Trump’s name was invoked (by Blumenthal?). Democrats have mostly been trying to appear above-the-fray, and that was something of an exception.

Flake is the next person; he will not be asking questions either. I’m struck that Sens. Hatch, Cruz, Grassley, Cornyn have all sidestepped questions. I wonder if McConnell really pushed the senators not to ask questions.
