What Happened In The Brett Kavanaugh Hearing

Like Leahy, Durbin reminds us that Democrats have called for an FBI investigation. If the GOP continues to refuse, it gives Senate Democrats in red states an opportunity to vote “no” on the basis of process issues, and not necessarily related to the truthfulness of the allegations, or Kavanaugh’s history as a conservative circuit court judge.

I guess I’m inclined to assume Republicans have some sort of strategy here. Just because this is a hugely-important event. But I’m not sure I see it right now. If Mitchell is supposed to be raising doubts about Ford, she has not really done so at this point. Maybe this is all on Kavanaugh doing the rebuttal.
