ABC News projects that Paul Junge will with the Republican primary in Michigan’s 8th District. This is a R+1 district that is currently represented by Democrat Daniel Kildee. Kildee has historically shown himself to have some cross-party appeal, but this could nonetheless be a difficult seat for Democrats to hold onto this fall. Junge is a former news anchor and Trump official and named one of the NRCC’s “Young Guns.”
