ABC News is projecting that with 78 percent of the expected vote in, the anti-abortion amendment in Kansas has failed. This essentially maintains the status quo, where abortion is protected as a fundamental right under the Kansas Constitution, and abortion is legal (with some restrictions) until 22 weeks of pregnancy.
