Kansas Upheld Abortion Rights And Other Key Updates From The Aug. 2 Elections

We’ve now got about a third of the expected vote in from Michigan’s 3rd District Republican primary, and it’s just about a 50-50 race between Meijer and Gibbs. Gibbs leads 51 percent to 49 percent, but almost all of the vote is in from Ottawa County, where Gibbs has 58 percent. Meanwhile, Kent County (Grand Rapids) has given Meijer about 60 percent, and it’ll make up the vast majority of votes. We barely have anything from Muskegon County, the other county in the district, and it’s looking better for Gibbs. But Gibbs needs to do better in Kent to win; I’d say the trends are decent for Meijer to survive if he can keep his numbers up in Kent.
