That’s an interesting question, Alex. Like Nathaniel mentioned, we know that Republicans and Republican media try to center Squad members as the face of the Democratic Party, but that hasn’t translated to party challengers. My political science colleagues would probably say it’s because the Democratic Party’s leaders exercise more control over primary contests. Plus, as already mentioned, their popularity with their constituents is going to deter a challenge, because more qualified candidates aren’t going to waste their time running in a race they will lose.
