I think that so much depends on what happens with Trump and Biden in the next few months. Without them in the picture, I could see the 2024 election starting out with big candidate fields on both sides. It just seems that both parties are thinking a lot about their identities, who belongs where and what ideas they want to champion — and that American politics is incredibly unsettled right now.
