Our colleagues at ABC News are reporting that Rich McCormick is projected to win the Republican runoff for Georgia’s 6th District. With 25 percent of the expected vote reporting, McCormick’s lead currently stands at 71 percent to 29 percent. Even though Democratic Rep. Lucy McBath currently holds the 6th District, McCormick is almost guaranteed to flip this seat in November: The district moved from D+1 to R+24 in redistricting, and McBath is seeking reelection in the 7th District instead.
