What Went Down In The June 21 Elections In Alabama, Virginia And Georgia

I was talking to J. Miles Coleman of Sabato’s Crystal Ball this weekend about this, and he pointed out that Virginia’s three competitive House races kind of represent the three tiers of Republican flip opportunities this year. With a partisan lean of R+6, the 2nd District should be fairly easy for them. The 7th District, at D+2, would be more impressive and would signal they’re definitely on track to flip the House. And if they win the 10th District, with its D+8 partisan lean, whoa nelly! Red wave time.
