Obviously, it’s early, but Georgia’s 10th District has been a particularly nasty race so far. As Nathaniel mentioned earlier on the live blog, Collins’s campaign has gone after Jones on multiple fronts. They’ve resurfaced an allegation of rape, sending out rape whistles with Jones’s name on them to remind voters. They’ve also attacked him for being a former Democrat and sent mailers claiming that Jones, who is Black, is a “radically anti-white racist.”

Notably, though, Collins has Gov. Brian Kemp’s backing, who, of course, survived his own Trump-endorsed challenge just a few weeks ago. It’ll be interesting to see whether Collins is able to eke out a Kemp-sized margin tonight in his own runoff.
