I am not sure how this will work for Castro. I do think there’s some appetite for party unity that’s connected to the electability concerns (not necessarily because they’re connected in reality, but I think there’s that perception.) OTOH, I feel like Biden’s soundbite about standing with Obama is going to come back to haunt him in some way.

Well, Castro is not going to be Biden’s VP.

Sarah, I think someone said this earlier, but maybe Castro is just taking one for the team. Might help any VP ambitions he might have?
