The word “Medicare” has come up many times in the past few minutes. A Kaiser Family Foundation poll conducted in July found that over 80 percent of both Democrats and Republicans have a favorable opinion of Medicare. The poll also found that 85 percent of Democrats and 65 percent of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Medicaid.
