It’s so easy to forget during a Democratic debate that Obamacare remains fairly unpopular. Just 39 percent of Americans favor it, according to the Huffington Post/Pollster.com aggregate. I don’t see how single-payer health care would be any more popular once Republicans started ripping it apart. Nor am I sure how it would pass when Republicans have more than 40 votes in the Senate.

Clare, I’d say Tim Kaine, Sherrod Brown or perhaps one of the Castro brothers. But trying to guess the VP is a fool’s game.
