One interesting thing about the results so far has been how different they have been by state. Some states have been really good for Republicans: For example, DeSantis won by 19 points and Rubio won by 16 points in Florida, and Republicans have flipped multiple House seats in New York. On the other hand, other states have been really good for Democrats: In Michigan, Democrats won the governorship, state Senate and state House, and voters passed a ballot measure enshrining abortion rights in the state constitution. And in Ohio, Democrats scored two surprise victories in the 1st and 13th districts, possibly on the coattails of Senate candidate Tim Ryan, who lost but only narrowly.
