Piggybacking off of Fivey here … Americans have been consistently and highly concerned about “inflation or increasing costs” as an important issue for the country throughout all six waves of our FiveThirtyEight/Ipsos poll. In the October wave, concern reached its highest levels yet: Sixty-three percent of likely voters were worried about inflation.
