(R) Key Race Projected
ABC News reports that Republican Eli Crane is projected to win Arizona’s 2nd District, unseating Democratic Rep. Tom O’Halleran. It was a close race, but ultimately it looks like O’Halleran’s incumbency edge wasn’t enough to overcome his district being redrawn earlier this year to be much more GOP-friendly: Previously, the district had a partisan lean of R+6, but after redistricting, it had a partisan lean of R+15, according to FiveThirtyEight analysis.
