Votes are still being counted in Arizona, but we are watching the secretary-of-state and attorney-general races. Adrian Fontes is up 52 percent to Republican Mark Finchem’s, 48 percent. In the attorney-general race, Democrat Kris Mayes is in a dead heat with Republican Abraham Hamadeh, 50.1 percent to 49.9 percent, respectively. Finchem and Hamadeh have both fully denied the results of the 2020 election in this important swing state, so how their races shake out could have important implications for 2024.
