And for Stacey Abrams, all the promise she exhibited as a Democratic rising star in 2018 came for naught, as she is likely to do worse in this race than four years ago. I remember when she was reportedly debating between running for Senate in 2020 and governor in 2022 — considering Warnock’s win in 2020/2021, it looks like Abrams made the wrong choice.
