Maya, I definitely think that we can now say candidate quality was probably an issue for Republicans in New Hampshire. Republican Gov. Chris Sununu has already been projected to win reelection, and Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan looks like she’s doing decently in the early tallies. It’s a swingy state where voters are happy to vote for a moderate Republican, but that’s not who Republican primary voters nominated.
