Before midterm campaigns hit their strides this fall (which is to say, started reverting back toward Republican candidates), party leaders seemed less than enthusiastic about the candidates they were putting forth. After so much conversation about “candidate quality” dragging down Republicans, do early returns suggest this is a problem for the GOP?
