We also have an update in the similarly dramatic race to control the Pennsylvania state House, where 101 seats have been projected for Democrats, 100 seats have been projected for Republicans and two seats remain undecided. Democrats have taken the lead in one of those two seats (House District 151, in the Philadelphia suburbs), which would give them 102 seats and the majority. But complicating matters is the fact that a Democratic state representative who won reelection actually died back in October; it’s not clear what would happen if the legislature convenes with 101 Democrats, 101 Republicans and one vacancy.
