Control of the New Hampshire state House currently sits on a razor’s edge. Based on preliminary election-night counts, Republicans had the lead in 203 districts, while Democrats had the lead in 197. But several districts were extremely close, and the state has been recounting those districts this week. And already, recounts have found that Democrats were the rightful winners in two of those seats. The tentative balance of power now sits at 201-199, and there are several other districts that Democrats could still win. For example, the Republican candidate in Strafford House District 8 currently leads by just one vote.
