Now, the question is whether tonight’s results help him encourage Republicans who had previously been on the fence about running for Senate (New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, especially) to take the plunge.

The Virginia House of Delegates is coming down to the wire. CNalysis has called 48 seats for Republicans and 47 for Democrats. All five uncalled districts are currently held by Democrats, but as of now, Republicans lead in four of them.

In the race for Boston mayor, Michelle Wu leads Annissa Essaibi George 64 percent to 36 percent with 77 percent of precincts reporting, and Essaibi George has just conceded the race. Wu becomes the first ever woman or person of color to be elected mayor of Boston, and probably the most progressive mayor the city has ever had, too.
