For me, I’m still waiting on the most interesting race in New York City … in City Council District 32, where Republicans are fighting to hold onto their last non-Staten Island seat.

Someone in this channel said earlier that Trump would likely try to take credit for a Youngkin win (should that happen). And if his statements this evening are any indication, Trump is taking an early victory lap. Just a few minutes ago, the former president bragged that he “didn’t even have to go rally for Youngkin, because McAuliffe did it for me.” He also thanked “MAGA voters for turning out big!”

Spoiler alert: he’s beating his benchmarks across almost the whole state, outside of some small rural counties on the western side of the state that vote overwhelmingly Republican in 2020:
