In the real main event tonight, the Democratic primary in Florida’s 20th Congressional District, we’ve got ourselves a true nailbiter. Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness has just taken a 90-vote lead ahead of self-funding health care executive Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, with just three precincts left to report. Cherfilus-McCormick spent millions of her own money on the race — a sum I believe was more than all 10 other candidates spent combined — and that took her from a no-name who had lost two previous primary elections to a top contender. But it may not have been quite enough to get her to Congress.
