Biden Is Projected To Be The President-Elect. Here’s How It All Went Down.
According to the FiveThirtyEight forecast, Pennsylvania went into the election as by far the most likely “tipping-point” state (i.e., the median state in the Electoral College). We’ll have to wait a bit to see what the true tipping point was, but the way the narrative ended up playing out, Pennsylvania was indeed the one that clinched it for Biden.
OK, mayyybe this feels like a little bit of an anticlimax if you’re in the news business, in which case the outcome has been clear for perhaps 36 hours now. But it’s not going to feel that way to everyday people, as we’re seeing lots of reports of simultaneous celebrating in New York and other blue cities.
