It feels like a good time for another Electoral College take. We are waiting on a few close states to determine an election in which the popular vote is much less likely to be close (though we won't know for some time, as votes get counted). This is an important perspective, though -- absent the Electoral College, campaigns and political dynamics would look much different. Yet, given the intensity of this campaign and the importance of partisanship in determining most votes, it's not clear how these changes would alter elections.
