How The U.S. Beat The Netherlands For A Fourth Women’s World Cup Title
Sara, sorry there was too much action towards the end of the first half to answer that kit question early. But here are my top 5 from this World Cup:
1. China away. (Gray kits usually never work, but these are ridiculously good looking.)
2. Nigeria. (Because you don’t mess with perfection, but not No. 1 cause it’s not a new design.)
3. France away. (This was so good I bought a Renard one in France. Since the U.S. won the quarterfinal, I can now admit that I did wear this jersey before that match. Don’t worry, the U.S. still won.)
4. Netherlands home.
5. U.S. home. (Probably my favorite home kit from the U.S. in a while. Their designs recently have been either bad or boring.)
Krieger is an interesting sub for the U.S. That means no action for either Press, Lloyd or Horan.
Very quick, direct from U.S. to start. Morgan looking strong to win that ball.
Ertz gets a lot on the ball there, but a tough angle. Goal kick Netherlands.
