What Went Down In The 2018 Midterms

ABC News has called the Oklahoma 5th for Democrat Kendra Horn, defeating Republican incumbent Steve Russell. Big upset — the second “likely Republican” seat to flip from the GOP to Dems, along with the New York 11th.

ABC News projects Republican wins in seven House races — IL-12, MN-8, OR-2, PA-1, TX-3, TX-24 and UT-3.

ABC News also projects Democratic wins in IA-1, OR-1, OR-4 and OR-5.

The Minnesota 8th District is officially the GOP’s first House pickup of the night. Republican Pete Stauber defeats Democrat Joe Radinovich in an ancestrally Democratic, working-class district that lurched heavily toward Trump.
