Big dump of mail ballots in Washington state just now, and it’s a good news/bad news situation for Republicans, with Cathy McMorris Rogers looking strong but Dino Rossi well behind. As in California, these races can shift a lot from the initial vote to the final one.

ABC News projects that Democrat Gretchen Whitmer will win the gubernatorial race in Michigan.

Still a fairly wide range on Democratic House pickups, as any number from about 25 to 45 wouldn’t be too crazy to think about.
