What Went Down In The 2018 Midterms

In Georgia, lots of votes around liberal-leaning Atlanta still left, but Stacey Abrams is down by 8 percentage points with almost 90 percent of the vote in. Hard to see her winning.

ABC News projects Republican wins in seven House races — CO-3, NE-1, NE-2, NY-1, NY-21, SC-4 and TX-25.

ABC News also projects Democratic wins in AZ-3, CA-5 and OR-3.

Another Georgia race that has received a lot of attention is the contest for the 6th Congressional District, where Republican Karen Handel — you may recall her defeat of Democrat Jon Ossoff in a special election earlier this cycle — is currently leading 51.9 percent to Democrat Lucy McBath’s 48.1 percent.
